在实证方面,本文运用多元线性回归法与logit非线性法对我国2002年123家上市公司进行了实证研究:在多元线性回归法中,在控制了影响企业信用的企业属性变量的基础方程中加入公司治理变量,发现公司治理变量的加入有助于加大方程的解释力度,并且两者在统计意义上显著正相关,说明良好的公司治理能在一定程度上提升上市公司的信用水平;在logit非线性方程中,我们发现企业信用水平不同时,公司治理对上市公司企业信用的影响是不同的,尤其是当企业信用水平较低时,公司治理的改善能在较大程度上提高上市公司的企业信用。
